Rice Cake Soup (Tteok Guk)
Ingredients (to serve 4)
Beef

1/3 garlic clove


2. 5 Tbsp soy sauce
(soup soy sauce)
3. 500 g beef Chunks
Soup

1 liter water

5. 10g dry fish

2. Dry kelp

6. 1 whole leek


3. 500 g beef Chunks
4. soy sauce to taste

6. 2 whole egg

8. pepper to garnish

Steps
-
Pour water into a pot. Add dry kelp and dry fish. Then, boil water. While boiling water, put beef chunks into another bowl with soy sauce and garlic. Place beef aside and wait around 15 minutes.

After water is boiling, remove all dry kelp and dry fish away. Next, add beef into water. Remove the side sediment forming on the top layer.

Cut leeks into slice and add into soup with rice cakes, egg.

Add soy sauce and salt to adjust flavor.

Put dry seaweed and pepper on top of soup before serving.
