Drunk Chicken

Ingredients (to serve 4)

 

  • 2 whole chicken legs

  • 500 ml Shao Xing Wine

  • 10g Lycium (Gou Qi)

  • ginger slice(s)

  • salt

Steps

1. Remove bones from chicken legs and rinse the meat.

2. Wrap and roll chicken legs in tin foil

4. While cooking the chicken, put Shao Xing Wine, Lycium,    

    ginger slices, and salt into one pot.

    Bring to boil over middle heat and remove from cooker.

6. Slice the chicken rolls and serve cold.   

 

3. Place chicken rolls in steam cooker.

    Add two cups of water in outer bowl of your steam cooker.

    Wait around 30 minutes for chicken to cook.

 

5. Then take out the chicken rolls when ready.

    Once chicken and wine mix cool down, mix them together         and place in fridge over night.
